India Quest accomodation
The Kethnakonda campus, where we will be staying, is in a rural village about 25 kilometres from the town of Vijayawada.
This campus houses:
- A Health Centre
- Children’s hostels
- Old people’s home
- An English speaking School
- A College and Vocational Guidance centre
- The main UCCI offices
The Guest House
The Guest House on the campus is the accommodation for the team and consists of:
- 4 bedrooms
- 2 bathrooms
- 1 living room
- 1 dining room
- A kitchen and a kitchenette
- Verandas
- A garden
Some of the local sports which you can enjoy in your own free time are swimming, badminton, volleyball, and table tennis.
Vijayawada
This 'city of victory' as it literally translates, is situated near the Krishna River Delta. It has a population of approximately 850,000. It is a transportation and administrative hub and the trade centre for the Eastern Ghats. It has an airport with connections to major Indian cities. Vijayawada has a number of good restaurants and shops including some well-stocked super markets, an internet cafe and several ATMs.
